Go PHS!!

Vernon's 10 year reunion was this weekend and Dean got to be in the homecoming parade for the class of 98. We were afraid he wouldn't stay in the little caboose thing on his own so Emily volunteered to sit with him.

Tombstone Picture

I finally got this scanned into the computer from our trip to Tombstone. They had this adorable cowboy hat for Dean to wear but he refused- so sad. But we had a lot of fun!

I hate making titles

Now that we are back and up to date with modern technology I might be able to update my blog once in awhile. Dont really count on anything... I seem to be becoming more and more forgetfull as the pregnancy continues. But eh I cant really complain, life has been good. We went to Tombstone with Jon and Emma last week and took a really dorky photo of our little family. Okay gross story... so they have cowboy actors walking around who do shows and tours and stuff so one of them walks up to Dean who by the way was totally afraid of him so I picked him up and then the cowboy guy puts his arm around me and tells Emma to take a picture. Now this all seems fine and dandy EXCEPT that I can smell everything 10 times stronger in a 5 foot radias being pregnant and all. He had apparantly been smoking ALOT and sweating AlOT. It was so strong I really thought I would puke if I stayed there too long. I really dont want to sound mean I just realized pregnant woman really need there breathing bubbles.

Then we took a quick family get-away/vacation to Phoenix this last weekend. We had a lot of fun just shopping and hanging out with friends. Vernon went and played basketball saturday morning with some of his friends but accidentally forgot his socks. So now he has two really gross blisters on his heals. But I'm pretty sure he thought it was worth it.

And before last week umm I'm sure we did some stuff. Oh wait Dean and I went to Tucson to be with my sister and her family-which of course was very fun. Dean got to go to Zoo for the first time. He really loved the giraffes probably mostly because they were eating grass like 2 feet away from him.

And a few pictures...

Quick update

Well life has been kinda crazy around our house for the past few weeks. We finally went to the doctor regarding our baby and found out that we are due December 24th! Not the best planning on our part but we are extremely excited none the less!
This weekend we are moving into Grandmas house so that it isnt vacant, and it also happens to be a wonderful blessing for us. I am so excited to have a yard with grass for Dean to play in. He doesnt get out near as much as a young little boy should. We are ALL so excited to be moving to Pima. What a great place it is, with such wonderful family so close by. We have also started working on plans and loans for the house we want to build and live in FOREVER! So scary!!! But we are grateful that we will be living just down the street from where we are planning on building so hopefully that will make the construction and moving parts that much easier when it comes.
Other than that we are all healthy and happy and looking forward to the upcoming months.

Random stuff

Here are a few random pictures that were takin in June that I just thought were adorable. So I thought I would share.

I loved this one because his eyes look soooo beautiful!!! Nearly every morning when Dean is eating breakfast I'll look at him and just completely melt at those adorable big brown eyes. I'm sucker what can I say?

This one sadly isnt exactly what I wanted out of this picture. But it reminds me of an extra cute morning. When I went into his room to get him he had both of his legs through the bars and was just singing/chattering away. It had taken me awhile to wake up since it was so quiet. He was having a great time hanging out in his crib. For awhile we've been making our own barricade to stop Dean from getting into the kitchen/laundry room since we dont have things very well protected. Well we finally got a gate since he had mostly figured out how to find his way through any hole. These two were taken shortly after we put up the fence and I just loved them.

Deans Birthday

Sorry I havnt posted for awhile. I'm sure some if not all people pretty much just forgot about us ;) Here are some pictures from Deans 1st birthday. I was going to make him an awesome cake but life got a little bit crazy so that will have to wait until next year...

He was a little hesitant at first about his piece of cake. I had imagined I would put the piece of cake down in front of him and he would throw his hands in it and go to town throwing it all over himself and the kitchen. But Dean just picked at the frosting for awhile before eating it. Even then he never "dug" into it. Oh well atleast he is a clean eater :)

We went to go see Grandma Rogers later that night and the sugar had already kicked in. He was pounding walls a million miles an hour, crawling (but it was so fast it looked like it was in fast forward) from room to room. He could not sit still. I had never seen him so insane before. It was very entertaining!
