Mt.Saint Helens
Dean loves throwing rocks in and on everything. He shares that in common with his cousins. They were there for awhile...
We went to a beach and had a fire and ate food. The boys were so cute eating there chips together.
I'm pretty sure this is Justin... DeAnn can correct me if I'm wrong.
Sheppards Dell Falls
FairyFall. So we had this travelers guide book Tommy and DeAnn lent us. And it said that after the Wateeka falls you can hike a mile in and find the Fairy Falls. We thought a mile wouldnt be too bad even with Cole. So we did. What we didnt realize was that we were going to hike a mile of switch backs up the side of a cliff. After like 5 switchbacks I was tired and was wondering how much further. So I asked a lady passing us going down and she said we had a lot to go and I probably shouldn't be doing it in flip flops ( she was all decked out- hiking boots and a pack, which after probably an hour I realized EVERYONE on that trail had hiking boots and a pack). But we thought we had gotten pretty far ( and really I wanted to prove to her even though I would never see her again that I COULD do it in flip flops) already and we didnt want to turn around. So we kept going. It took us forever to get to this dinky fall. Which probably would have been beautiful to us if we hadnt been so darn tired. When we reached it Vernon made some funny joke about how lame the fall was to the work it took to get to it but I just couldnt believe that that was it. So we kept going for probably about another 20min maybe more. We finally decided to ask someone if they knew where it was. A guy said it was the one we passed and we were on our way up to the top of Multonoma Falls. But since we had Cole and it would've been a few more miles and we didnt exactly know where we were going we went back down the way we came up.
