Seattle Fun

Look how BIG those flowers are!
The twins are so big! And were sooo much fun. I realized I hadnt spent enough time with them actually getting to know them. They have some of the cutest personalities. Dean has never been one to just snuggle for periods of time, so I thouroughly enjoyed all the loves the boys gave me. They were so quick to be my friend. I love you boys!
They liked to poke eachother. Dean was pretty fascinated with the twins. They were so good to put up with him touching and poking them all the time.

We played frisbee golf or "Frolf " as Vernon calls it. Actually the guys and Tiffany did(with me subbing in for a couple rounds). DeAnn and I pushed the strollers through the dirt mounds. It was actually great exercise. I pushed the two seater for awhile and it worked some of my muscles good. The next morning I was sore. I know pathetic.
It was kinda funny when we flew into the Seattle airport Vernon and I thought it was so cold! When we got to there house and were talking about things to do, they all thought we should do something out side because of the "beautiful weather". We agreed (thinking they might be slightly crazy) and threw on our sweaters. The next day we understood what they meant. It was freezing and raining. The news said that day that they were expecting snow that week. SNOW!!! In APRIL!!! And it did snow and hail and rain. And if you readers really know me then you know that I of course only packed flip flops and one hoodie. I ended up borrowing jackets and buying shoes which were well worth it. (Vernon just threw on thick socks borrowed from Tommy with his sandles... hehe he makes me laugh-but he was warm).
The tulip festival was very pretty unfortunetly it was too cold for them to bloom so we only got to see the flower garden they have up front. They were still beatiful and HUGE! The drive was also beautiful. It was snowing through a lot of it and the fields were gorgeous with a light haze over them. I rolled down my window one time when it was snowing/hailing, I still cant decide wich one it was, to catch some and some fell into the truck and some ended up down peoples coats and in there hair I have NO idea who would be so immature to do things like that! Needless to say Justin locked my window after that. Sad day for me!
(Dont worry my punishment was shortly revoked)
We also went to the aquarium, but sadly since I had to hold Dean the whole time I completely forgot to take pictures. Luckily DeAnn is much cooler than me so you can look at her pictures of our adventures here : http://thebattys.blogspot.com/
We had such a great time visting with friends and family. It was so relaxing we didnt want to come home to life. Thanks Tommy, DeAnn, Justin, Tiffany and of course Mason and Justin for a wonderful vacation!

Me

Well I finally did it. I have been wanting to cut my hair off for forever, but you see I'm kind of a wuss. Weird how we can get so attached to hair. So far still not missing it though. It only took me like 10 minutes to completely get ready today! I still prefer long hair over short on me but wow the benefits of having short hair are well worth it...
1. Dean cant get as good of a grip on my hair
2. I wont have bald spots
3. I wont be completetly bald by age 23 due to my son ripping my hair out every chance he gets.
I now understand compeletly why so many women after having kids chop off their hair!
