This is Allie. She looks like she is praying and doing it oh so cute. But really she just doesnt like the wind. She is such a sweet baby.

Vernon put dean in this tree and he sat there all by himself and had a blast. No worries we had people ready to catch him just in case.

To top the month off Tyrel and Megan and adorable baby Allie came to visit us. We had so much fun being with them. Tyrel and Vernon had fun having a LOTR marathon (which they didnt even come close to finishing). And oh so talented Megan taught me some new tricks on photo shop. She also helped me with my new banner for my blog (thanks :)) We also took a quick trip up to Blackberry patch or Ash Creek I think is its "official" name and had a picnic.
Thanks for coming out to see us guys. We love you :)

Cedar Springs

The next weekend we went to Cedar Springs with the Batty/Evans/Turnidge gang. It was quite a weekend. We had a 7month pregnant lady, a baby boy who has never slept in anything but a crib, and extremely strong wind. Luckily thanks to Jon and Emma we had a porta potty close to camp so we could make quick trips to the bathroom when needed. The wind was pretty annoying and we dont know if we all got burned by the sun or the wind. And even though Dean screamed/wiggled/fussed/kicked/played/and ate most of the night we were still able to have an enjoyable time playing on my dads little go cart/climbing rocks/etc...

All in all a splendid weekend.

Oliver Knoll

Well we have had a fun month so far. We started with a trip to Oliver Knoll with the Batty/Lunt/Griffin gang. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a picnic with yummy KFC and then went hiking around the Knoll. We didnt actually get to the knoll since it was pretty far away. But we had fun exploring and learning new things from Grandpa Jon. Dean had so much fun playing and being out in the great outdoors he zonked out on Grandma Emma on the short stretch back to our picnic site.

Dean has FINALLY started liking food. He is still scrawny as ever. But he definitely knows how to pack away some food. It usually takes 2 or 3 times to get the food successfully in his mouth but once its in there he loves it!

He is getting pretty good at sitting up now on his own but sometimes he forgets and bonks his head. I havnt gotten a picture of it yet ( since im usually the escort ) but he loves to

W A L K around the house. One night when Vernon came home Dean saw him and we started walking over to greet him and Dean got SOOO excited that Dad was home he started running to him. It was adorable and it made Vernon so happy.

We Love the Phoenix Suns

Vernon and I have wanted to go to a Suns game together for awhile now. So for his birthday we decided to get some tickets and just go. After looking through some different sites we decided we wanted some good seats to make the experience that much more fun. So we splurged a little (justifying that this was now also MY birthday present) bit and got tickets 9 rows behind the suns bench. They were amazing! We went into overtime and won the game!
